Everyday Edgebrook Winter Market Pop Up Fundraising Event

Dear 7th grade parents,

I hope this email finds you well.

My name is Yuri Yatsuda, and I am Saori Yamanaka’s mother.

I wanted to reach out to you on behalf of the DC fundraising volunteers with some exciting news!

We are thrilled to inform you that we have been granted the opportunity to run the kids corner at the Everyday Edgebrook Winter Market Pop Up!

The event will take place on November 18th from 3pm to 8pm in the Edgebrook Metra Parking Lot on Kinzua.

This event, organized by Everyday Edgebrook, aims to bring our community together for some holiday shopping and festivities. Expect a wide array of vendors, food options, local brews, and a lot of kids activities.

It will be a splendid holiday event, and an excellent opportunity for us to raise funds for DC trip!

Our project for this event includes two aspects:

1. Kids Corner at the market: Children will have the chance to create holiday ornaments for a fee.

2. Selling homemade holiday ornaments at the market!

All proceeds from these activities will directly contribute to our ongoing DC fundraising efforts.

Here are a few important points to keep in mind:

🎄 Volunteer opportunities will be available during the market event. Please mark the date in your calendars: November 18th, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

🎄 Help us spread the word about this event! An official flyer is attached.

🎄 We are working closely with the teachers to organize ornament-making sessions during homeroom time. Stay tuned for more details, as volunteers will be needed.

🎄 Craft nights will be organized, where both children and parents can join in making ornaments together to prepare for the event. Samples of the ornaments in this project are attached for your reference.

If you have any questions or need further information, please feel free to reach out to me at [email protected].

We will follow up with additional details about the event and send you a volunteer signup sheet in the next email.

Thank you all for your support and involvement in our fundraising efforts!!!

Warm regards,

Yuri Yatsuda
